Buying a mattress online is confusing. There are thousands of options, confusing jargon (what is open-cell foam?), and wildly varying price points. Worse still, a mattress that is perfect for a side sleeper might be a nightmare for someone with back pain.

At Mattress Quiz, our mission is simple: We use data to match you with your perfect sleep surface.

We believe that finding the right mattress shouldn’t be a guessing game—it should be a mathematical match based on your unique physiology and sleep habits.

How It Works: The Smart Algorithm

Unlike other review sites that simply list “Top 10” products based on popularity, we built a custom tool.

  1. We Analyse the Specs: We maintain a database where we break down mattresses by their technical specifications—cooling technology, motion isolation levels, and firmness ratings.
  2. We Analyse You: Our quiz asks for your weight, sleep position, and specific pain points.
  3. The Match: Our proprietary JavaScript algorithm runs instantly in your browser. It calculates a “Compatibility Score” by weighing your needs against the mattress specs.

For example, if you indicate you are a heavier sleeper with back pain, our algorithm filters out soft memory foam mattresses and prioritises high-density hybrids that offer the necessary spinal support.

Trust & Independence

While we are supported by affiliate commissions, our recommendations are driven by the algorithm. If a mattress doesn’t match your specs, our tool won’t recommend it, regardless of the commission rate.
